Been going to Scissorbox for nearly 3 years, I love it there. There is a lovely friendly, chilled vibe there, excellent stylists, I've never been disappointed. What I love too is that they have Captain Webb Coffee Shop attached, so while my foils are cooking I can get delicious food and drink. I highly highly recommend. All the staff are so lovely. Tina the owner does my hair, I've been so pleased.

Recognised for its modern industrial décor, the salon is also home to Captain Webb Coffee Co. - a cosy specialty coffee shop run by Tina’s husband, Simon - as well as Box & Co, a beauty and wellbeing space, and Regent Barber Shop, founded by her son Ben.

Our Story

Starting from a small salon in her living room, Tina has grown Scissorbox into a thriving, family-run business at the heart of Cheriton. What began at her home on Warren Road, Folkestone - while raising four boys - quickly outgrew its space. The move to Cheriton High Street marked a new chapter, where Scissorbox became a well-established hub for expert stylists and colour specialists.
